Chile is
a wonderland land created by the volcanic activity that formed the Andes.
The myriad of volcanoes that form the backbone of the Andes are the source
of innumerable thermal hot springs that can make any visit a relaxing
pleasure.
From springs
after a day on the ski slopes in Chillán to large resorts
in the Lake District to completely natural waters bubbling out of Patagonian
fjords, a visit including Chile's hot springs will be a memorable
immersion not only in wonderful baths but also in the wonders of nature's
beauty.
Some of the springs are at all-inclusive resorts, another (Termas de
Puyuhuapi) offer their spa together with trips to the Laguna San Rafael
National Park, while yet others are completely natural and accessible only
by small boat cruises into the fjords of Patagonia.
