About Chile by Design

Chile by Design was created to promote unique, high quality options for visitors to Chile and offer you, the traveler, the kind of hands-on assistance you require to make the most of your time here. One of the hardest things when planning a trip to a new country is to find reliable local knowledge and assistance when deciding what activities to do and which companies to do them with.

All of the tour options offered by Chile by Design are run by responsible companies- responsible not just to you, their client, but also to their community and the area in which they work.

This site is of special use for those of you who wish to have a rewarding hassle-free trip to Chile without having to join a large group to do so.

	Britt Lewis- Sales & Trip Development Originally from USA, Britt has lived in Chile and worked in tourism for the past 8 years. His love of travel and his experience with international markets has given him the ability and breadth of knowledge necessary to custom design unique itineraries using a mix of traditional and little known, high quality companies in Chile and Argentina.
	Sandra Echegaray- Operations Sandra first came to Chile in 1993 working as a translator for the British Operation Raleigh. After half a decade in the UK she returned to Chile leading groups with a large operation from England before deciding to settle here in 1998 and bring her expertise and experience to reception tourism.
	Carol Coryell- Sales & US representative Carol has a lifetime of experience in travel and has a special love for Chile, where she has traveled to more than 30 times, both individually and leading groups. She has a special knack for finding out-of-the-way charming spots and activities on her travels, many of which we have included in our itineraries. Based at her home in upstate NY, she will lead two trips to Chile (Jan & Feb/March 2005) for 6 people only. If you are interested in knowing more, please write.
