DAY
1 (Saturday) You will be received at
the airport in Punta Arenas and taken to the Skorpios office for check-in.
Then you travel by bus (3 hours) to Puerto Natales and the Skorpios
terminal, arriving approx. 17:00. A welcome cocktail and dinner on
board. At 20:30, Skorpios II begins cruising the Patagonian Channels:
Angostura Kirke, Canales Morla Vicuña,
Seno Union.
|
|
DAY
2 (Sunday) Throughout
the morning we'll continue navigating through the Sarmiento Channel among
others. By 19:00 we'll have arrived at Antrim Fjord where we will have
dinner and an informal dance.

DAY
3
(Monday) At 08:00 we'll have our
first view of the massive wall of the Pio XI Glacier, the largest in South
America, measuring 1263 square Kms. This glacier is part of Bernardo
O'Higgins National Park- the largest park in the country. At 12:30
we'll begin navigating again through Seno Eyre & Canal Grappler towards
Puerto Eden, where we will disembark in landing boats. We'll have a
two hour excursion to the village, which is located on Wellington Island.
The village has no streets, only a wooden walkway/bridge used to visit local
homes or climb a lookout tower. At 18:30 we'll be underway once again,
navigating the Paso del Indio and the Paso del Abismo.

propellers). We will get close to the wall of the glaciers if weather
and ice conditions permit. At 13:00, we'll set sail once again.
The afternoon will be spent navigating various fjords until we arrive in the
tiny settlement Caleta Villarica where we will do excursions in the Hercules
boats once again (if conditions permit).

where we will drop anchor for a goodbye party and dance.
