Description:
Sailing every Saturday from Puerto Montt to the San Rafael, the
majestic relic of the planet's last glaciation. The cruise goes
through spectacular channels and archipelagos, where exuberant nature stands
out. We will visit isolated and picturesque fishing villages and
settlements such as Puerto Aguirre, Queilen, the city of Castro, the
Quitralco fjord with its thermal hot springs and the San Rafael National
Park- which was declared a world biosphere reserve by UNESCO in 1978.

1 Sailing
at 11:00 from Skorpios Terminal outside Puerto Montt. Navigation for the
Llanquihue Archipelago, the islands of Chiloe and across the Gulf of
Corcovado

2 Navigation
through the Moraleda and Rerronave Channels, arrival at Puerto Aguirre,
dropping anchor at Punta Leopardos, twenty miles N of San Rafael Glacier
|
DAY
3
Cross San Rafael Bay to Iceberg River and
into the Laguna itself, dropping anchor two kilometers from the wall of the
glacier. Excursions in motorboats between the multicolored glaciers,
weather permitting. In the afternoon, the vessel moves closer to the
glacier. In the evening, depart to Quitalco Fjord.

4- Quitalco
Fjord: thermal baths with indoor and outdoor pools, excursions in motorboats
in the fjords. In the even, departure to Chiloé
through the
channels

Day
5-
Cruise through the Leucayec Channel, the
Chonos Archipelago and across the Gulf of Corcovado to the village of
Queilen. Sail through the Yal Channel and the Castro Estuary to arrive
at the city of Castro.

Castro, handicrafts market, Museum, church (a UNESCO world heritage site).
Optional excursion to Chonchi. Departure midday down the Castro
estuary and then northwards. Gala Dinner & arrival at Puerto Montt

7- Breakfast and disembarking at Skorpios Terminal.
